It was an amazing experience with 8 young girls from providence and 9 members of the BBC Songs of Praise production crew. Josie D’Arby chatted to the girls as they enjoyed their meals around the dinin table, fed and cleaned out the animals, weighed the piglets, groomed the ponies and jumped in the puddles that grew around the farm in the rain. Everyone enjoyed the day – apart from the repeat “takes” that tested some of their patience!! What the TV cameras didn’t see was the great whoops of delight as the girls enjoyed a paddle in a Dartmoor stream, making inflatable origamis cubes with Miho and Chee, fed Wills cows and walked to Rowden Rocks – in the dark!
