During his visit to the Deanery Bishop Nick of Plymouth called into Shallowford Farm to see what we were up to. He had brought his own wellies and the four young lads from Providence House showed him around the farm.
They fed the animals first and then welcomed him to a seat by the fire where the boys offered him the sausages on sticks and biscuits that they had made earlier in the day. He prayed for us and one of the lads prayed for Nick. He left with a Shallowford mug and book written by Elizabeth Braund “The Young Women Who Loved in a Shoe”. Good job boys, they proved to be fine ambassadors.
