Once the Country Fair has been enjoyed by all, we will be looking towards the Family Week in August. Many families from Battersea will be joining us for the second week in August, camping for 4 nights, enjoying the wide open spaces of the moor, visiting the coast
Planning ahead we will be looking for volunteers to support us during that week. We would be grateful for help with the catering, sports and craft ideas plus extra hands most of the time! If you think that you would be able to help out then please do get in touch.
Then there is the Widecombe Fair. We will again be delivering a high quality café in the church house from 8am to 7pm. Should you be able to help for a short period during the day then you will be VERY welcome. We will also be needing a vast supply of cakes to keep everyone fed. Again if you can provide any that would be wonderful – bring your receipts for reimbursing of costs. Debbie will be running the Archery at the fair with the help of Heatree Activity Centre. This was extremely popular last year and they were also run off their feet. If you could lend a hand for a period of time during the day by collecting money, arrows (training given), explaining about the Trust – please do let us know.
