Tailored Group Visits

Every group comes from a different location, key stage and demographic therefore Shallowford Farm is committed to developing programmes that suit each group. Through discussions at the time of enquiry the team can assess the group requirements and propose a programme that, after further communication, can deliver an experience that is appropriate and tailored to each group.

This personal attention applies to all groups, regardless of size, day or residential and can take inspiration from:

  • Farm experiences
  • Outdoor learning across the curriculum
  • Bushcraft and Forest school
  • Team building
  • Dartmoor Explorers
  • S.T.E.M. – Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths in the farming industry
  • Moor to Sea, a river study following the River Lemon
  • Adventure Activities
  • Rural Skills
  • Bible Encounters
  • Dawn till Dusk Discovery
  • Field work – Geography and Biology

And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so.
