Widecombe Fair

What an amazing day and a superb team.

There were 37 volunteers involved before, during and after the day making the Shallowford Café a great place at the fair to get quality food and drink. Thank you so much to all the volunteers that made this happen, it went like clockwork. There was even time for the chairman of the trustees and two other – animals? – to take time out to complete the Widecombe Fair Run. All the visitors to the café were happy and the team were happy, especially those that stayed on to enjoy the party afterwards! Job Done.

The final result – we raised £4,300 – all to go towards enabling more young people to enjoy Shallowford Farm.
